Media Literacy Week 2025
The National Association of Media Educators presents Media Literacy Week: May 26-30th, Term 2, Week 5. This is an opportunity to promote media literacy in your schools beyond your Media Studies classrooms.
Continuing the amazing inaugural week last year, we hope to reinforce the need (now more than ever) of media literacy in a world saturated with media messages.
And we're not the only ones who think so. Check out this RNZ Podcast episode with our own Jerome Cargill.
Watch this space for the 2025 resources, but in the meantime perhaps peruse BrainBox's report on Deciphering Media Literacy which might help swaying your school to take part.
