The National Association of Media Educators presents Media Literacy Week: May 13-17th, Term 2, Week 3. This is an opportunity to promote media literacy in your schools beyond your Media Studies classrooms.
How Media Literacy Week is implemented is flexible and adaptable to your context. It might be something promoted through form/tutor time or in curriculum classes. Below, you will find a collection of resources that can be linked, or copied and adapted. The plan with themes for each day gives an overview of the resourcing. The master slides use this information from this plan in a student friendly format, and are divided into individual days as well should you wish to share one day at a time. Each day has four slides:
