MediaWorks is New Zealand's largest independent broadcaster, and reaches more than 4 million Kiwis through its TV, Radio and Digital platforms. The company is owned by Oaktree Capital and governed by a Board of Directors; Jack Matthews (Chairman) and Jonas Mitzschke. MediaWorks is led by Michael Anderson, CEO.
NZME.
New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) is a result of bringing together three New Zealand media brands, APN NZ, The Radio Network (TRN) and GrabOne and unifying them under one overarching banner. The result is an organisation with a portfolio of radio, digital, e-commerce and print brands producing fantastic content, targeting New Zealand audiences.

Fairfax Media is an Australian multi-platform media company operating in both Australia and New Zealand. Fairfax engages audiences via print media, digital media, radio stations and other businesses.
The Radio Bureau
New Zealand has more radio frequencies per capita than any other country in the world. The Radio Bureau helps agencies to navigate this radio landscape.

The Broadcasting Standards Authority
The Broadcasting Standards Authority oversees the broadcasting standards regime in New Zealand. The broadcasting standards outline what is required of broadcasters when they broadcast programmes in New Zealand.
Advertising Standards Authority
Internationally, there have been self-regulatory codes and standards since the early 1920’s. In New Zealand, the Committee of Advertising Practice was established in 1973 by the Newspaper Publishers Association, the NZ Broadcasting Commission and the Accredited Advertising Agencies Association. The name was changed to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and it was incorporated in 1990. It now has 14 member organisations representing advertisers, agencies and the media.

The organisation in charge of classification in New Zealand.
NZ on Screen
NZ on Screen is an online showcase of NZ television, film, music, music video and web-series.
Better Public Media
A trust that aims to establish a complete public media platform in New Zealand.

Re: is TVNZ’s socially-driven alternate news brand that creates video content covering important issues that affect young New Zealanders. Their content is also available on Facebook and Instagram.

This is an awesome news site targeting NZ youth with content produced by young people for young people. They are also wanting to promote media student work, so the platform could be a very cool outlet for student media products.
NAME is a not-for-profit organisation representing the interests of Media Studies teachers in New Zealand.
